- new cadets are to wear a plain white shirt, black pants, and black shoes. No need to purchase items; do your best with what you have. 

- 1 NLCC Hawkins baseball cap will be issued to each cadet. This is theirs to keep. 

- All other uniform parts must be returned in good condition when your cadet is finished the program.

     - White cap with cap tally

     - Blue shirt

     - Black pants

     - Belt

     - Boots (our corp tries its best to provide boots to all cadets)

     - Lanyard

NLCC Hawkins Drill team is under the command of SLt(NL) Silson.

The team currently practices Saturdays 6-8pm. 

NLCC Hawkins is part of a mass-band with RCSCC Drake and RCSCC Whitby. No experience required.

They are under the command of Lt(NL) Smith and CV Wells. 

The band currently practices Sundays from 12:30-3pm. 

In 2026, the Ontario Division of Navy League of Canada restarted inter-squadron competition weekends.

NLCC Hawkins proudly sent our team to CFB Borden where they competed in Drill and Seamanship, placing 4th in each cateorgy! 

This opportunity requires cadets to try out for the team. 

Cadets are required to participate in fundraising throughout the year. 

While the program is entirely free to families, it does require a healthy budget to run!

- Tagging happens once in the spring and once in the fall.

        - cadets will be assigned a partner and supervisor, then be posted at a local business to offer promotional material to their customers, with the goal of recieving donations. 

        - Tagging brings in approximately 75% of our annual budget.
